Steering pulling

I have a Peugeot Boxer van with power steering. If I make a sharp turn to the left when I straighten up it continues to pull heavily to the left, the same if I turn sharp right, it pulls to the right. After a few miles its OK. Any suggestions to what's causing this?

Rack would seem the obvious choice if there ae no other symptoms (noisy pump, lost fluid, frothy fluid)

Tell me it's electric?

Had a similar problem with a Mondeo a few years ago that I managed to sort out by flushing the system . Disconnect the return to the reservoir and plug reservoir , place end of hose into a bowl and pour in a 50/50 mixture of fluid and parafin keep filling and run engine until fluid coming from return hose is clean then flush with fresh fluid. Cheaper than a new rack/box etc if it doesn't work it only costs a few quid.
