Hi. I have friend that has broken his screen today while trying to get a better fit. He contacted me asking what the best approach would be to getting another screen locally and cheaply. I seemed to remember members of this site, getting screens made to their needs.

Hi, if he has already passed SVA then its simple, if he takes the cracked glass to any decent glass cutting place they will do it out of 6.3mm triplex, (or similar). If the car has still to go through SVA/IVA then the glass will need the correct EEC coding on it, and Oh! boy that don't come cheep, I payed £160 for mine. Cheers Ray
