Off the road as of today

Well I am starting to strip the GTS as of today in order to do the engine swap.

If nothing else, I guess it gurantees you guys some better weather for the rest of the year!

eh? I though you had the duratec in already, or is it another engine?

hopefully it'll go a lot smoother and quicker than my swap grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Nah aint in yet, have a look at the thread in the engine and trasmission section. The engine itself is almost ready to put in, just need to fit the sump.

I like the comment about the weather.

I've just changed the headgasket on mine. All the time the engine was in bits, great weather. Now it's back together, it's tipping down!

Are you updating the sticky with the transplant as well as the build up of the engine?

Hi Mike,

Yes will be updating the sticky with the transplat as well. So hoefully it will be a complete guide once its done (i'll tidy it up when I have finished too to make it a bit easier to follow!
