Q plate MOT
How many of you with a Q plate have had to show the V5 at the MOT?
I’ve had my car tested twice and it’s been tested for visible smoke only, but I'm thinking of taking it to another test station this year.

Visable emissions test is correct for a q plate car.

hi the q reg only needs to have a visiale check but he might want the old mot as it is easier to register as all the details are on it (it make our
jobs a lot easier)

Yup also got visible smoke test at the last few MOT's that I attended
Mine does have the emission levels on the V5 and not sure if they used that at my last MOT or not as I didn't watch this time round as they had
a man that could fit in the car and operate the controls
