No claims bonus..
When I first insured the Locost, I had 7 years NCB on my tintop policy. I was told that you could only use your NCB on one policy - fair enough I
thought.
I am due to insure it again in Jan, can I claim I have 1 years NCB on my locost ( which I should have as I havent claimed) and still claim the 7+ NCB
I currently have on the tintop?
Cheers

When i had my MG, i was able to use my Nc on both cars.
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

i had a quote recently where they would match your ncd on another policy, without it needing to be 'spare' ncd.

i'd say depends on the policy you had. Specialist policies as 2nd car may not offer discounts for NCB. As for all insurance issues - be 100%
honest, tell them the score and dont give them any excuse to invalidaye your policy.

Was it a multi-car or historic policy?

you should be a able to use you first cars no claims bonus on any car as its the drivers no claims bonus and not the car..
if you was to have an accident you would have to declair it ... regardless of which car you was driving at the time.

The majority of insurance companies will only allow you to apply your No Claims Discount to a single policy (which may cover more than one car).

You can have multiple NCB but trying to use one more than once is insurance fraud, someone I work with had his mum insure his car and for some reason
the NCB used on the other car was put down, when the insurer found out he was forced to pay £3k.
I wouldn't have though you could use you normal NCB on kit insurance.

Sorry i think I may have misled you. I have 7+ years NCB on my tintop policy. I have also got 1 years NCB on my Locost. They are on different polices
with different insurers.
I would like to know if it is legal to use the 7+ on my tintop as normal, and the 1 year NCB i have accumulated on the locost, on my next locost
insurance policy.
Cheers
