inside diameter of team dynamic wheels - again

One more question, is the inside diameter of the Team Dynamics wheels constanst from outside to mounting face?

Reason i ask is my 15" BMW wheels wont quite fit because they narrow a bit towards the mounting face of the wheel so they hit the caliper.

Cheers
Mikkel

Hi,

Its a good point, I tried fitting some on to my car and due to how they narrow it was a no go.

The 'better' quality the wheel the more constant the inside diameter seems to be.

are you talking about BMW rims or TD rims narrowing?

In general.... I tried a few old(cheap) bmw and aftermarket rims on and they seemed to narrow by a decent amount but when I tried some more expensive rims they had a more constant radius on the inside. It may just have been a fluke observation though.

they taper as they go inwards to allow them to seperate from the tooling when released. typically the radius decreases by 3mm

Ok thanks,

Does anyone know the inside diameter of 15" TD wheels by the mounting face?

Thanks
Mikkel
