What sort of pointers did you want, it must be a very old kit. I built a Robin Hood Donington which was Cortina front end-Sierra rear stainless steel monocoque back in the 90's. I don't know how yours will get on with IVA. Cheers Barry

When I built it it was pre-SVA days, you MOT'd it and just took it to the DVLA and they registered it. I remember there were sharp edges everywhere on the bodywork and fittings. However, that said I had a brilliant time with it. It was very heavy but reasonably fast with a 2ltr Pinto engine fitted. I would suggest that you carefully read the IVA manual and see how it applies to your car. Good luck and lets us know how you get on and if I can help in anyway please contact me. Barry

I know that many Sierra based monocoques went through SVA. I think the cortina based one uses the front crossmember doesn't it? There are going to be more problems getting it through than a more recent model, but it should be possible. I'd go and ask on http://community.rhocar.org/ if you haven't already.
