First start and test drive
Finally had the Westy running today had a mechanic friend come up to give me a hand with the timing gun.Started second attempt,bit of fine tuning with
the dizzy turned the pressure down for the bike carbs and WOW.Snook out on to our dead end country road for a shake down run or three.Ran like a dream
no knocks,clunks or other nasties.Goes like a rocket.Just need so get the IVA probably wait until the spring,but at least I know it works as it
should.Big thanks to all those who have answered questions or offered advice.
