car out of garage pics
decided to get the car out no finished as you can see but thinks it helps seeing it outside so all the little job feel like your getting somewhere!
only wiring to finish and get engine built and inlet and exhaust fabricated hope you like

is it going to be road legal..
think you will struggle with hydraulic handbrake
and whats the big "knob" on the tunnel top

it is road legal, started as a winter spruce up a year ago and its still not done
the knob is for all the lights and it does the horn, the handbrake if you look closer i have a "normal" cable operated item

yeah i run spaces that need machine down at the rear to fit the wheels i ran on the road the black images wheels, but im selling both sets and
dropping down to 13" wheels as i need something wider at the rear for grip

Yes it is, if your unsure you can get a birth certificate From Vw in Germany to prove it mines a 73 crossover but is just tax free by a month

thanks ours was first registered in march 73 so could well have been made late 72 as apparently there there was a dockers strike in jan/feb 73
cant seem to find a definitive answer from the chassis no and the date plate has been removed will have to do the birth certificate thing one day

yeah its worth it though! is it a crossover like mine with low front lights?

difficult to say as the front panel was removed by the previous owner so no indicators he also cut other bits off before realising he couldnt weld or
fabricate lol got it for a good price and i can do the above
seems the engine is mexican and it was originally a kombi then converted to camper then stripped out and the last owner seems to have thrown a lot of
it away
its going to be a long term project but the main thing is we have it
