Fun Weekend Blat

Met up with a US Locost owner and had a good blat this past Saturday.

Here is his car, its a Brunton Super Stalker. Its a supercharged 3.8L ball of viscious, I loved it.

Here is a short clip I took while he gave it the beans for a bit on youtube. The sound of this thing is really different from anything else I've heard.

Yeah, its definitely an ear plug kinda car. The torque curve on that thig is amazing just letting off the clutch in first gear the car will pull away and will continue to go without any throttle input.

I'm going to an auto cross event in a couple weeks where the owner of the car pictured above is going to let me ride shotgun. Its fast enough on street tyres, but for those events he puts on 10 inch (254 mm) wide racing slicks.... I'm a little nervous.

Nope, just the ghetto style of holding my iPhone really tightly so I wouldn't drop it. The stalker owner has a mount on the roll bar behind the passengers. I was actually thinking of some alternative mounting methods to give some cool shots. I know there are some cameras that are really small and thought about one mounted in the nose of the car would give an interesting perspective. Maybe peeking out from one of the cycle wings, or even behind the car so you can see what you're pulling away from.
