Damn! Don't you hate it when that happens...
I decided to do a few odd jobs on the car today, including the fitting of a little buzzer to tell me if I've left my headlights on (see thread
elsewhere).
So I took the dash off, unplugged everything, laid the wires out and put them in the appropriate bits of conduit... then realised that I needed a
6.35mm Lucar female connector that will latch into the relay socket housing... and have I got one of those? Nope! 
I've got the ordinary non-latching type, and I remember that last time I did this sort of thing I thought "I must get some more of
those"... and didn't.
Now I've got an order in with AutoSparks - they're really quick on delivery so hopefully I'll be able to finish the job
tomorrow...
Another good driving day gone forever.
