Track rod ends
Anyone know where i can buy some new/recon track rod ends for my sierra steering rack. I tried a ford supplier but no luck then lolocost shop and they
rang up saying 'no longer available' The ones from my donor have really messed up threading on them and i'd like to get some new
ones.
Thanks for any help

All factors will sell sierra track rod ends, do you mean track rods?
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

How about a nice warm glass of SHUT THE HELL UP! I meant track rod ends. Its probably track rods but since i thought it was 'track rod
ends' i put just that thinking that i was correct when all along i guess i was incorrect.

you are talking of the bits that screw on the ends of the rack and then go into the hub steering arms?
There is NO WAY they could be obsolete, cos I bought some no probs a couple months back. They are also used on granadas. I dont think all the various
joint mfr would think of stopping making them when there are still several years more supply of old fords rattling around the roads.
After all, you can still buy cortina lower ball joints!
id bet even halfrods sell em

Thanks for the replies. I asked about them because i was told from kit fit that they are very hard to get hold of now but i'll keep looking in
the places people have suggested, thanks

I seemed to have p!ssed you off, I didn't mean to. I just thought you may have typo'd what you want. As track rod ends for sierras are
available from stock everywhere except boot the chemists, I though you may have meant the rods themselves which I know are only available from Ford
and they are out of stock at the moment as I tried to get a RH one for a 2.0 GLS on thursday and wrote the car off as a result.
If Kit Fit say they are in short supply, perhaps you should take what they say with a pinch of NaCl
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation
