Anyone from the Y/Shire Dales area?
could do with a hand to sanity check a route that i've planned for a road trip. I want to make sure that we've got the best roads
included........so if anyone fancies a quick look over a route that has been created on TYRE i'd be grateful.
welcome to email me

oh and if anyone is reading this who knows northumblerand - the west from Rothbury down towards the Dales/inc Kielder area - the same applies!
cheers
Mark

Hi Mark
I've no idea what TYRE is, but I'll have a look at the Dales route for you.

cheers chaps. will be able to log into that email acc tonight to reply.
FYI - TYRE is a neat program ( a freebie ) that allows you to plot a route using an interface to gmaps and which then saves the file in an appropriate
format for sat nav ( mainly geared towards TTom and Garmin - not all TT's/Garmins can use teh files though). Having made a route in TYRE its a
simple cut/paste job to pop it onto the sat nav, teh sat nav then follows the route, taking in every waypoint that you popped onto the original
route.
The huge benefit is that when out with others there's no need to worry about keeping up with the car infront, everyone can drive at their own
pace as they know they'll pass the same way and end up at the same destination.
anyway, will reply to your emails this evening, many thanks.
