Hi,
What Chop saw is that, it looks like a woodwork one. I have been UMMing and RRRing over what to do, the Abrasive chopsaws for metal are all 2-3KW
electric motor jobs, and £300. I thought of using a woodwork one (cheaper) with an abrasive disc in it, however the motors on the woody ones are
only 600w - 1600w. and the 1600w ones arent cheap.
I would be most interested to know what you have there, and how good it is, and what the blade in it is. Also is it a new saw, or an old (part worn
out) saw.
I would appreciate your experienced view!
Best Regards.
Geoff
PS... I cant saw straight with a hacksaw to save my life!.

its a wood saw - b&q special, 30 quid when i bought it - used a wood blade for a few cuts untill that died, then bought a metal blade from
screwfix - never had no problems with it, cant tell you what size the motor is, but it cuts well
