I once stumbled upon a person who was skipping all of his central heating system. I asked him if I could have it. I took it to the scrap dealer and
got over a hundred quid for the bits of copper. To some people it's just not worth the effort to find a better home!

People get stressed out trying to find space for all their stuff. I am going to be sending a few things back to England just to rid myself of the
clutter. But it isn't going in the skip!

I picked up a compressor a while back, mainly for the 50l tank on it to reduce the pressure fluctuation running tools on an undersize compressor. Got
it home and dried it off and the motor ran, so pulled the head off and sure enough the reed valve was broken. Half an hour with some steel shim and a
dremel and presto, working compressor

Friend of mine was at the bottle bank when someone turned up to throw out several
bottles of wine and spirits away because "there about five years old mate".
Needless to say where they ended up
