Hmmm saw that before and he is not far from me, can't build this for 60k he said, could build a better car for 60k and I didn't see but I don't think it's dry dumped either? Good luck with that but 35k I would rather have a r500' even with less power it would be mo liable and quicker round the track?

A bit over priced but still it's had 2 offers,

That's a £25k engine build with a westy strapped to it IMHO. The car would be no slower with 150hp less and lower spec though, that specs ideal for dragging a cossie around but a bit Ott for a plastic-fantastic!

Its a 25k engine (if it does really cost that) that's slower than a 1.5k engine.... I can't see 60k in it? £35k would build a nice GDt70.

Saw a nice Cossie turbo westy once with 400 bhp and that went for 12k
Nearly bought it but was concerned about damp roads and forced induction

This car shares one thing in common with pretty much every kit car you'll ever see for sale.

Build cost and end value are often two vastly different number.

I'm not putting the seller down for this.

Just pointing out that his cost / value disparity is just the same as everyoen else experiences only more so.

I would suggest that the builder undoubtedly knew that the same money could have have bought / built him something else, but wanted a Westfield to that sort of spec.

Personally, I wouldn't, but as ever would defend somebody else's right to do it and sod everyone else.

How much it will sell for is a different matter entirely.
