Have to say that after phoning 'ALL' the insurance peeps mentioned on Locostbuilders..
After all the stupid prices..
All the waiting and sending photos off to Sykes n Co....

They also do a 'lay up' - 'off the road' insurance'
This way they seem to have some sort of wriggle room..
I'm very happy - very nice people to deal with ..
Also club discount I think ..I mentioned Locostbuilders .. will be wearing my Locostbulders T shirt tomorow too!!

It can be done.
I had to get mine extended after failing the SVA twice.
They just wanted copies of the fail paperwork, ie just to prove I wasnt stringing them along etc.
I can see it from their point.
Like all things, talk nicely and comply with their demands for paperwork to back up your story.
Overall they were pretty good.
Mine was done thru Graham Sykes, Been with them for 6 years now, with no problems.
Well... except for adding breakdown cover every year when I have AA membership. But a quick phone call gets it removed and the price adjusted.
No point in paying for two breakdown covers.
1. The point of a journey is not to arrive.
2. Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
