2 x 7 = 14 I just bought another seven!!
Wooohoooo.....I finally did it, after a long time deliberating and the SA Rand dropping against the UK pound, I bought a locost seven here in SA.
Driving it home yesterday in Jo'burg on the N1 was an experience!
It was first registered in 95, 1600 kent/crossflow? with twin webbers, 5 speed type 9 box.
Can someone confrim that is a kent/crossflow? please.
It needs a roadworthy test (MOT) and will need some items fixing:
Speedo not working
Main beam lights not working.
plus I plan to change the blue interior and dash to black.
Fuel hose needs replacing, as seems to seep slightly
Seat belt, need changing to harness type
I still have my MAC#1 in the UK locked away in a garage ready for my return, but not sure when that will be. Am I the first person to own 2 sevens on
different continents?
Just thought I'd share my good news with you all.......

That's a nice looking car!! I have to ask about the seatbelts though, I know you're replacing them but what is in there at the moment? It
looks like a single belt with a buckle that's too far forward to actually be effective? Surely a front impact and the occupants will just
slide out from under that belt?

Thanks. Yes the seatbelt/harness is right up there on the list of things to do.

That's a nice looking car - particularly like the colour scheme. Best of luck with it.
