Chuffed, Tig progress.
I am well chuffed, I’ve been having a little practice with the pedal on The Tig.
Chuffed as I managed to stick two bits of alloy tube together with out blowing a hole in it. or it dropping into a big puddle.

That looks very good
Difficult to master, but rewarding when you do
The thing is you then have to keep practicing as I found once I'd stopped for awhile it was back to square one when I started again

Yeah took me a while to get the hang of alloy welding, you need to have the welder set too high when the pedal is flat to the floor.
Then to start off your pool floor the pedal, but be ready to back off straight away once the pool is created.
Then you use the pedal at about half way down whilst moving pretty quick and adding the filler rod fast too

When welding those little pipes I dop a metal rod down the middle so I do not blow through, old drill bits are perfect.
