Even though I live next door in TN18 I have always gone to Nick at what is now Matfield MOT Centre (matfieldmotcentre.co.uk) as they are next door to
me at work. He has always tested my Strikers with no issues
However Nick is unwell at the moment so they have a stand in guy and I have know idea what he is like.
If you do find somewhere else would love to know who.

Either of these points from the manual should cover the problem if you have a fixed seat:
-A driver’s seat that is fixed or cannot be adjusted to the manufacturers full range of fore and aft adjustment is not a reason for failure.
-Original design characteristics and specialised modifications (e.g. to enable wheelchair access, or changed to a fixed seat) are to be accepted.
If you do have the seat on runners, the seat should move to some degree (as per the first point), and automatically latch when the handle is
released.

Like I say he just kept going until he found something I couldn’t argue even though it had passed sva and every mot since. It was his first day at the
firm and not tested a kitcar. The guy that did it last year was great. Much more engaged and interested.
I should have made more effort and took it to Tiger.

I've got a great place but it's nowhere near your! It's NW London but really good for kits, no lifts involved as inspection occurs
in a pit and they only do MOTS so they'll pass you if they can. Bit of a drive though!!

If asll else fails locally, I have a great place I use in Benfleet Essex, again, a bit of a drive tho'!
I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator
headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names
furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours.

I've used two garages closest to where I live and not had any issues with my Indy. TBH they both seemed pretty relaxed and took a sensible view
given the type of car it is.

I use Croydon Mot centre on the Pitlake road, they helped my build my car, set it up for the IVA and have lots of experience of kits as they have guys
there that have owned them in the past.
