Saved 20% with Sureterm
Well I phoned Sureterm to ask them if they could come up with a any better quote than they sent me, and in the end ended up paying 20% less than the
renewal quote that came through from Flux.
Nice helpfull chap on the end of the phone too!
Recomended.

i had my supra on adrian flux, and one of the things that bothered me was that they charged 25 quid for a 'minor' change of information
(car details etc), and 50 quid for a major change of info. (address?)
sounded like a right con to me even though the quote itsself was very cheap.
do sureterm have any hidden nasties like that?

They're cheap but they'll charge through the nose for anything extra if they can.
I went with the as they beat Flux. As I knew I was taking the car abroad, I also asked them to organise a Green Card.
"Sorry Sir - we have to do that when the policy is setup"
2 weeks later, i ring up "Yes sir, no problem - that'll be £45" (or somewhere in that region) "You WHAT??" Apparently
the insurance company charged about a tenner and the rest was Sureterm's "costs" in "sending it on" to me.
After going ballistic, it came right down to a palatable level (£15 total or thereabouts)

BTW my Hill House Hammond renewal had gone from £200 to £900 - something tells me they are no longer interested in the kit business.

I rang up Sureterm today and they said they'd ring back later today...never did
21 years old, driving since 17, no claims...Hmm, could be nasty. Maybe they didn't ring back so they could find a way of breaking it to me

how old are you?
if i remember you rightly, i doubt you'll see premiums under 200 just yet.
it doesn't help that at the time of taking the policy out, i hadn't been driving a full year, and also that i live significantly close to
numerous pretty rough estates. they wanted an extra £200 for a 2litre, same for a 1.8
ho hum, just one of those things i suppose being over 21 opens up a whole host of options though.

Ive just renewed with Adrian flux, same price as last year, they had put it up a little but inside the renewal was a "we will beat any
quote" statement, i asked what they could do, they charged same as last year, I'm happy with that, mind you for an old git like me
insurance isn't too bad.

Not 30 yet, and live in and area of the Thames Valley that can't really be called "leafy"
Wait until you're 25 - they'll shoot down.
