Best way to sell
Right fellas, got a project to shift, but not sure of the best way to go about it.
Its a Dutton Melos. Runs and drives ok but needs some tlc. I've done a fair bit of work to it but have lost the garage i'm keeping it in
and dont have the time to work on it now so its been replaced by a bike.
Since i've owned it i've spent a fair bit on it. Its just had poly bushes up front along with recon callipers, new discs and pads. The
wheels have Yoko A539's with less than 500 miles on them. I fitted a 38dgas to the 2.0 pinto and had it pro setup at Northampton motorsport. A
pair of Willans harnesses have been fitted.
There's bits that needs doing, the fibreglass is cracked in places, the electrics could do with being ripped out and starting again. The engine
needs raising or the sump chopping as its a bit too low and the exhaust needs sorting. The MOT runs out mid next month and may need a few little bits
and pieces.
So question is whats it worth and hows best to sell it? Don't have time to break it, could make a good donor car or a project for someone. Got
all of the weather gear for it. I paid £650 for it when I bought it end of last year. Was thinking about just putting it on ebay and seeing how it
goes.

I would put it onto ebay - do it when the weather is going to be nice though
Good luck with it...

Never had any luck with mine on ebay and I see lots of kits not sell there - no harm in trying though.
Pistonheads is a great place to advertise for free.

You would probably get more for it if you get a new Mot ?
