Another Newbie!

Hi All,

Been lurking around for a while now and finally decided to register.

I'm currently building a Tiger Supercat, and hopefully should have it SVA'd and
road legal around March time.

Just thought I say hello, excellent site with heaps of useful info!

Kevin

Build is going ok, providing you pay no attention to the instruction manual from Tiger!

Only been doing it since July and apart from the interior and the fiddly bits for the SVA etc its nearly done.

I'm using a 2.0 zetec, twin 45's and the Weber Alpha management.

Thanks Mark, not been able to get out in the garage much recently (too cold!) so I have spent time on my build site instead

I think I'd rather make my own Locost from scratch rather than buy a kit. Kits boost the price of the project up immediately.

i wouldnt be so sure, unless you have all the necessary kit at home and the time to do it there are a few kit makers that sell a bare chassis without wishbones for a good price. i bought a chassis from mk and it was altered to suit my drive train with wishbones, shocks and uprights for under a grand which is a bargain in my books. i know its been put together right and i had a rolling chassis after a day in the garage putting the engine in and fitting the wheels

Welcome aboard shipmate. Not too many tigercat builders on here. 10 or 15 Avons being done at the moment so that should prove useful.
Check out builders photo archives, they are often a good source of info. Mines got a few in it !

"just like that !"
