Top 12 Kit Manufacturers

Straight from the back of Hellfires' thread HERE. Using your local knowledge and observations what do "you" think is the most popular Kit Car out there on the roads. Around Yorkshire there are only a handful of 'spots' (viewages) per month (seasonal). However, over a 12 month period - what do you think is the most popular - based on actual viewings - not the quantity once inside a Kit Car Show.

Caterham...pretty much purely down to the length of time they've been going, and the fact that they seem to appear in droves round here as soon as a bit of sunshine appears.

On the other hand most Robin Hoods don't make it onto the road

caterhams but then that is more due to where i live (posh area so they are all factory built ones) and that im only 15 mins up the road from caterham.

after that the most popular by along way are the sylvas (although the projects arent owned by sylva now)

theres a few cobras (and a real one) but ive never found out what makes they are.

So how come Robin Hood CLAIM 550 units/year? (I wonder if the Inland Revenue knows about this figure?) Maybe a local knocking shop massaged the figures? Or maybe even the '0' crept in by accident

Probably the fact that 1-100 people have an unfinished Hood in there garage, that's why their tin-topped cars never go in them

SE London /NW Kent is predominantly Tiger territory . Probably due to their Plumpstead origins and their existing build premises there.
