Greetings!

Welcome to the mad house!

In no particular order:
MK Sports Cars
GTS
Luego
MNR

All make great kits at varying but reasonable prices.

Best Regards,
James

Whether you buy a kit, or make your own depends on how much time and money you have at your disposal. You will get all sorts of advice steering you in the "unbiased" direction of each individual persons favourite manufacturer. My advice would be to have a good read of the pro's and cons of the various kits on this site. Go to a couple of kit car shows with an open mind, talk to the various manufacturers, have a look at the products, and make your decision based on what you've read, seen, heard, and perhaps most importantly how you've been treated by the manufacturer. I haven't built a kit, but have bought items from various manufacturers, and based my decisions on the above. Bigger is not always better.

Good luck.

I'd suggest the cheapest way is to scan Ebay and buy a part finished project.

If its a self built chassis take a tape measure and plumb line and make sure its accurate and well welded.

Even what may appear to be a sparse amount of bits soons adds up.

Regards Mark

I'm pretty much at the same stage at the moment of deciding what to do. I'm not that confident of my welding, but I'm going to have a go at the chassis myself. Then I'll probably buy the suspension components/wishbones etc.
