master cylinder washer

Hi.
I'm using the Girling m/c with a bias bar as supplied by a lot of the manufacturers.
These have a screw in nipple to attach the pipe to connect to the reservoir.
What is the washer between the M/C and the screw in nipple made of? Is it a fibre washer or is it special?

I believe you normally use copper crush washers in that sort of fitting to get a good seal.
