Wow.... Looks like 907 has finished his locost.
I didnt think he was that far ahead with it.

I mailed him on the power and weight - somewhat disappointed, especially the power:
" can only guess on the weight. It should be less than a standard
Caterham. I have tried to minimize weight. I have eliminated
interior panels and the Alloy Nose and Wings weigh less than
fiberglass, but more than the Carbon Fibre versions. The
underpan is much lighter tha the standard Al. There are more
weight savings. I guess somewhere between1050-1150 lbs. The
BDP is about 190 BHP 175 ft-lbs at Flywheel."
Don't forget he ditched the deDion in favour of IRS. I think the weight may be a tad optimistic.
Anyway its more bling than bworrrrrr.
We could all achieve the same with his budget and timescale. What would you rather do polish it (for 15yrs) or drive it?

If you like it that much take a look in "Trev D"s photo archive. His is a work of art, and a tad more practical.
I believe the company he works for can make them to order. But people who can beat metal that well are unlikely to be locost.
