Oh....buggerit!

My speedo has decided to stop working over the last couple of days - not a good thing in a car that can break speed limits at the touch of the throttle.

Plugged a little test circuit into the wires that go from the sender to the speedo - and the sender's on the blink. Not the end of the world - except that it's one I made, which plugs into the speedo cable outlet on the gearbox. And do I have an access panel? Do I b*ggery!

Now I have to cut out an access hole in the side of the transmission tunnel - I've just spent half a day removing the dash, opening up the tunnel, removing the remote gearshift, and so on.

Then I thought that while I was in there I might as well grease up the propshaft - can I get the grease gun to lock onto the nipples? Can I b*ggery!

End of general-purpose rant - normal service will now resume...

David
