it probably is made of wood, ie a tj locust. That said, £2300 is quite cheap for a fairly fast car, especially if its properly registered. You could
always rebody it next winter, onto a metal chassis.

I dunno - talk about chinese whispers!!
Locust chassis aren't made of wood, and neither are morgans for that matter! Both vehicles have steel ladder chassis. A morgan has a hardwood
frame on top of that for mounting the body, while a locust has the main body tub in ply or mdf skinned in ali. Nothing at all wrong with wood -
fantastic stiffness to weight ratio.

If it's a TJ it probably will be made from plywood, but as pointed out, not much wrong with that. Early Marcos's were made from plywood
too & were formidable racers. I'd rather have a well made ply chassis than a poorly made steel one!

neither have a tree wood chassis, the wood just supports the body panels. The only cars I can remember with a chassis made from vegetation are the
original Marcos, and the flintstone car
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation
