The 'other' locost...
How's this for locost?
--> Berrien Warrior <--
It's a buggy-type car. The chassis (knockdown kit) sells for a little over $300 in the States. A donor Beetle can be had for very little money
as well.. looks like a lot of fun. I think there's only one agent in Europe, BillyBob's Buggy
Shop. First of all, I think that's a rediculous name. Who's gonna take a guy named Billy Bob seriously? I also hate his site which
doesn't look very professional at all. It lacks content as well as pictures. Oh well.. What I hate most though is the price of the chassis. Now
I can understand it's not cheap to ship those things over, but how the hell do you get from $300 to £699?! With the current exchange rate, that
comes to $1296!!
This sucks, even though 700 quid may not be all that expensive for a chassis*, I would feel totally ripped off.
Oh well, guess I'll keep looking for an unfinished seven project..
EDIT: *Actually, I changed my mind, 700 quid IS a lot of money for just a chassis. Especially considering you'll still have to assemble it
yourself.

That T-Buggy has to be the worst looking dune buggy ever and I can remember the first ones.
Tell them about the bent treacle edges!

Some people are worried about the difference between right and wrong. I'm worried about the difference between wrong and fun.
