inductance is a great thing, you can now get electric hobs that heat the pan direct, no pan = no heat. Clever stuff!

Battery fairy
Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

oh, it works by the manufacturer doing a deal with the tooth fairy, the base station is actually a fairy attractor. During the night they come along
and change the batterys over - seems they where not making enough money from teeth and decided to branch out.

It works on belief, while you have faith in it it will work just like aeroplanes are kept in the air by the faith of the passengers.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Who would have thought my lack of understanding of things electrical would have brought forth such a wealth of very clever answers to my question.
So lets see? the majority think my tooth brush works by magic which is axactly what I thought in the first place, perhaps I am not soch an electrical
numpty after all .
