live axle mods for st locost

hi

got my live axle for my ST loco zx9r

ST reckon theyve got to modify the axle for the chassis and its £60

just checking this thing that costs 60 pound isnt something really simple

as its these £60 a go things that add up

The mods are to add three brackets.

One each end of the axle tube to hold the two trailing arms and one on the off-side end of the axle for the Panhard rod.

You could make the brackets and weld them on yourself (if you have a big welder 160amp plus) but for £60 it's not worth the hassle.

£60 sounds a bargin, just done the same on my new axle and the 130 amp snap on welder was at max,

They should also put on some handbrake brackets if needed.

hi dave happy new year thanks for letting me know I still havent looked at it yet with new year etc

Ive sold the metro vvc though so on the weekend I can start sorting
picking ST up a week wednesday
