I found this thread about an 1/12 Caterham Super Seven being built. Superb detail work with Tamyia models.

Thats a pretty awsome model!

Who is going to be the first person to find a scale V8 and put that in there instead

Awesome did you see the video of it running.

Mind you I think the first one to something like that was quite a few years ago and he made a fully operational running model of a RR Merlin.

Iv seen them before. Nearly bought one then i saw the price!!!! Excellent detail though..

I bought a little hornby one for 3 quid instead. Still havent finished it.

Iv got as proper model kit from about 1974 somewhere for the original lotus 7. Still in sealed bags..
