Although the prototype car was built by Martin at Mk Engineering and myself it's a completely new design intended to iron out all the previous handling problems with "seven" type cars - for example on the prototype we have completely eliminated bump steer.

All the slanging matches aside, I hope those words above aren't published in the new book.

They would be enough to get Catervan and Westfield fighting together for once.

The publishers would be taken to the cleaners.

The implication, as others above have put, is that this is the first design that handles in an acceptable manner, and without bumpsteer.

Clearly, not true at all.

The word 'some' put before the "seven" would have avoided all this hoohah.

Think before you write, read it as others would, then edit to correct things that can be misconstrued.

Cheers,
Syd.

That Caterham R500 that went past me didn't seem to have a handling problem
