She's alive - finally!!!!! - now on YouTube :)
Well - after many many hours of nightmare wiring she finally fired up this evening - and a very exciting moment it was as all those of you who have
done it know 
Unfortunately the engine dies straight away - so I'm not quite out of the woods yet - but at least I can see daylight

If that was me, it wouldn't be daylight, it would probably be an engine fire.
Tell them about the bent treacle edges!

I'd just flooded it - cranked it a few times with no pumps and now it runs and idles fine (if a little fast)
Now to get Hicost down to finish the dash wiring

did you not have a sad moment and video the startup,i wish i had got a clip of conrods start up..... ATC diverted the planes

Ok -so I have some footage from my mobile - it's in MPEG4 format - playable with quicktime - now wot do I do with it?
It's just under 4meg, so emailable to anybody who wants to see
