Hello
Hi locost builders. Locogeoff is a colleague of mine and invited me. I've got an interest in kit and self built cars (electric ones) and have
the "build your own sportscar" book from a while ago.
To be honest I joined because I've got a Sierra to get rid of and would rather see it turned into a project than scrapped, but I'm not
able to post in the for sale forum yet so I'll stick around and wait for my post count to go up

Welcome
You couldn't pwn your way out of a wet paper bag, with "PWN ME!!" written on it, from the "pwned take-away" which originally contained one
portion of chicken tikka pwnsala and the obligatory free pwnpadom.

what sierra is it? i don't want it but it will help your post count increase by answering it
Thanks, how thoughtful! It's a bright yellow estate car with a 2.0 DOHC engine. In Fife. You've probably seen it if you're in
this part of the world

Bumping up your post count & just to let you know I'm just across the Tay bridge from so I'll be keeping an eye out for the Sierra.

And how much do want for the Sierra once you have reached your post count and are able to advertise in the 'For Sale' section of the forum

Well, don't want to pre-empt that obviously, but someone told me the engine alone was worth £100 quid, and I can get £70 for the rest of it from
the scrappy, and there's 4 good tyres on it.
Any idea what they normally go for (not MOT'd)?

Price range seems to vary from free to £200 if they have a decent useable and sought after engine. DOHC is not that sought after unfortunately for
locosts.
Why not add pic to bump your count up.
