Burlington Arrow - in or out
I won an eBay auction a few days ago for a set of Burlington Arrow plans and will be using a GT6 I already own as the donor (engine, trans and
differential, suspension, etc. - the chassis will be used, too, but it will first be extended about a foot). 15" wire wheels from a TR3 and a
set of "flying" wings from a kit car will complete the illusion of a '30s roadster.
From the point of view of this esteemed forum, if I don't spend more than GBP 250. will I be considered a Locost builder? Or just a low cost
builder?

Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the
error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

That's one vote FOR . . .
Chris - a question about yours
I read that you widened the body 4" - did you also widen the track and overall width correspondingly, or just use wings that are less wide to
make up the 2" on each side?

I built mine +4 inches overall, i.e. I added four inches to all the members that run across the car, used a cortina axle and a sierra rack, I made the
rear arches to suit the wheels I'm using (Capri Lasers), there are some details on my website

If you build your own sports car for less than GBP 250, it will be the first time ever!!!
Unless you count the legend of RC, that is, but many dismiss this as folklore

Technically, I won't spend a single GBP - some USD, of course, but no GBP!
BTW, my copy of "the book" finally arrived in today's mail - I can finally get some understanding about the stuff you're all
taking for granted.
