what are you building?
The locost concept is that its built from a pile of steel. At least thats what the book promotes.
Then there are those that get a little leap forward by buying a chassis.
And those that go off at a tangent. Silly people.
I just wonder what proportion of the site is doing what....
this counts for cars in progress and finished.
if I havnt included an option, just post it.

Multiple polls for accuracy?

Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the
error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

And yet another, either this proves that a lot of people on here are scratch building or that scratch building attracts the sort of person who like
answering polls!

Do I get rated 1st cheat?
Is it socially acceptable to pray on some other buggers financial misfortune and relieve him of a minty tig'd race chassis?
Damn right!

I would say I'm assembling a Stuart Taylor kit rather then building something . To start with a pile of steel and a book would be way beyond
my skill level.

I bought a CMC chassis for two reasons, first it's already homolgated for racing here in the States in SCCA SoloII and second because I'm
a lazy bastard.

Building from scratch is way beyond my current skill level too.
But that aint gonna stop me.
Run the poll again in 6 months and I'll be clicking on the 'purist' button, not the 'waiting to start' one.
Might build one of ron's buggies first for practice.
