Elvington videos
Couple of vids from Javelin's trackday at Elvington yesterday. Was double driving my son Pete's new car. Its a Westy with a 2.0lt Dunnell
Zetec fitted. About 220bhp is certainly a little quicker than my Pinto engined version...
Enjoy...Pete at the wheell
..and me giving it a run

Nice videos as always.
Who was in the light green 7 that had a spin at the end of the second video?
Always nice to see 7's go flying past tintops.
Cheers

Beetle was a funcup car, spaceframed with an Audi engine/transaxle in the back.
Light green Westy was a pal of mine (Rich Kerr) struggling on worn out rear tyres..
...and yes it's a bit bumpy! good fun though!

great vid i did elvingon in my 200sx about a year ago. you can really push to the limits on there due to the huge amount of runoff space the
track layout was setup the same as that. im sure it was a javelin day too

Good video - the only comment I would wish to add is that more engine sound would have been nice... I've had it said to me a number of
occassions, but on someone else's video you can appreciate it more if you're not that keen on the music being played.

Steve, the music is to cover up the annoying wind noise from the in-built mic. The camera has no socket for an external microphone, otherwise
I'd have shared the Dunnell soundtrack with you.. Till we get a better set up, you'll have to make do with, usually, my 22 yr
old son's easy listening choice!

A car had spun at that corner, doesn't show in the vid, so it was a bit of a free for all, where everyone went to take avoiding action!
