Oh Bollox! Can't get the URL/Linky thing to work either!
Anyhow up - I wonder why this guy thinks he knows more about Turbo design than Garret or who ever designed it in the first place
I would guess the added bits will fly off after a while and be ingested into the Turbo so it won't matter for very long

Justin
Who is this super hero? Sarge? ...No.
Rosemary, the telephone operator? ...No.
Penry, the mild-mannered janitor? ...Could be!

bl**dy hell! don't those things spin round in the region of 100,000 rpm???
any misblanace, and it is obvious that no though has gone into that, will destory the bearings in no time; depending on how bad the welding is, the
weld blobs may fly off.
Once the metal starts flying, does he think the bonnet is strong enough to keep it all under the engine bay?
I don't think the boy need to apply for a job as an engine developer with an F1 racing team.

Hmmmm I can think of a couple of people who post on here who I wouldn't have been surprised to see posting something similar however
You've got to feel a bit sorry for the lad but I suppose it's one of the disadvantages of being young nowadays - we all have done realy
stupid things in our youth I'm sure but before the interweb there was very little chance of having people all over the world taking the p*ss out
of you for it
