sadly all the ones i have played with are c**** except the ipod. Some that seem ok are those small long tubular ones. Pop into Curries and have a
play.

My lad bought one of these after doing loads of research and reckons it's the dogs danglies. Sounds great but to be honest I couldn't
tell the difference between a good and a bad one
LINKY there is a 2GB version at about 50 notes
Cheers

The menu's are a little basic, but any kid can find their way round those!
If there anthing like the rest of their gear it'll sound good, have good battery life and come with all the leads, plugs, adapters, carry case
etc.

I got a 4GB Sony for 55 quid from Curry's - special offer at the moment. Take a look on their website, it's a shiny black plug-in job,
with a shiny colour screen. Pretty good for 50 quids I thought.

Ive just bought my first MP3 player - IPOD. Never compared any others but love it.
Id suspect they are all decent in the 50 - 100 budget area. As lond as they are easy to operate id guess any of them will do the job.
Do they all have the same plugs for connecting to docking stations etc?

I bought one of the 2gig Samsung ones above and I think it magic. I don't like itunes and the samsung is simple drag and drop. Also better
battery than the ipod.

I've heard they can be quite hard to get hold of, but form reading a few forums they've just sent out new replacement items to people when
they've broken
