Its 10% off everything day tomorow

But you can only get an invite if you have skype..... i think a well known invisible parts supplier is using the same system after not paying the phone bill LOL

Anyway

If its the same shop i was at earlier this year then its a barn and they have an unfinished luego viento in there

Might even be for sale

I'm a supplier to the above shop, and I can honestly say I've had very few enquiries for my services. I'm thinking of withdrawing my parts.
BTW that part on page 3 isn't one of mine - although I wish it was!!

I had this naive idea that shops needed customers

I thought that too until I dealt with some of the kit car manufacturers who positively drive customers away

Can't be the case, they would let you in otherwise. Just think of all the money you save by not being able to shop

Invites are quite difficult to come by as customer numbers are limited. Unlike most shops, the Locostbuilders shop isn't about making large profits. I did hear that Joelp had an invite coming through soon though, so it might be worth contacting him...

Some of the items were more than 10% as well. bit of a end of year sale. I managed to get a 100L vertical tank compressor for £110 delivered. 14cfm as well which should drive most of my tools. Hope its OK when it arrives.

Yeah - i actually got my personal invite before 2500 posts but i think that was mainly as i havent upset anyone.

Having re read the thread and seen the type of customers who are allowed in I think that perhaps it is more of an honour not to be a member..........only kidding!

But hey it does push the score up at this rate in 10 years I may be allowed in to buy a nut

As with most secret societies you never know until you get in. I have to admit ive not had that many car related bits from it but the Scottish Malt that was on offer last December was magnificent.

Bob,

There were some good offers going on the 10% day, you missed some bargains there.
Still awaiting delivery though myself, will let you know if it's any good as still might be worth getting one yourself anyway.

cheers,

Ned.

beware, I've got yellow skin
