Its a runner! (well for a few seconds)

It official, the engine ran at approx 6pm today. It did only run for around
5 seconds, but I was never going to run it for long with no water and no
exhaust!!!!!!!!

It is turning over really slowly however, so tomorrow I'll try a different
battery and see if that helps starting it.

Now, I'm having a well deserved beer.

Did you have an exhaust fitted Steve? I'm thinking of starting in again in the morning, about 8 ish. What do you think? That should wake the neighbours!!!

They sound cool with no 'xhaust!

yeah, go on it will be funny

dont rev it to much tho as i will be sleeping, as i finish work at 0700

And it was much quiter than expected - even with the garage as a sound stage.

I havnt had complaints from neighbours yet - your technique might get a few tho

if they are gits, go for it
