HELP WITH AVATAR PICTURE
I have give up, is there anybody that can do it for me, want to put this pic on.

start by uploading it to your photo archive

Hi, What i did was open a Photobucket account, upload the pics to there. After youve got it uploaded under the picture there will be 4 types of code
underneath. Choose the second one and paste it into the avatar piece in the Control Panel/Edit Profile section. Hope this helps

yours is 300pixels wide bassett. 200pixels is the commonly regarded max width.
as big rich has said, if it's not already, put it in your photo archive.

Madteg, load the picture you want to use into your Photo Archive........I will be able to help you better once you have done that!  ......(a touch of
deja vu from another thread of yours!) 
The width of avatar is usually 150 pixels wide... max! In the case of pictures that are wider than high (as Indykid's) 200 pixels is the max
width.......
Bassett please could you reduce yours?

at least the photo's now hosted so he can just paste the url into his avatar box.
incidentally, i couldn't get his picture to upload to my archive, but i resized the one from the other thread and it went straight in.
can you tell i should be doing uni work?
