Car runs, stops, goes around the block
As many may have noticed (or not, hopefully), I've been on here quite a bit moaning about lack of progress etc, but I have good news to report!
Had a friend come over Saturday to help with some things like brake bleeding, brake light switch, and engine wirng (again), and had the thing around
the neighbourhood. I let him drive since he drove 2 1/2 hours to come over and help (and has built 2 and knows the thing inside out). The thing is a
seriously fast little go kart! I apparently chose fairly well on the Sumitomo HTR 200 tyres too, because it gripped like crazy. I did fear for my
life, as seatbelts and passenger seat have not been installed yet, but what a ride! It was my first ride in a 7 of any kind, and certainly the first
in any car with flames coming out the exhaust (it was dark). Very motivated to finish body work and light/dash wiring.

I seriusly thought I was going to be reading of you selling up with all the frustrations you've had.

Time for some pics I would say, with some mountain scenery in the background. Perhaps some moody nocturnal shots with the flames as well.
Well done
I like the idea of building a 7 with never having been in one too, you knew it made sense, didn't you. I did the same a few!years ago, ordered
and paid for a kit car when I'd never even seen one in the flesh.

Thats exactly what im doing, i just loved the idea of a small fast kitcar, then saw one and loved it even more, then went to newark... love grew more
and then at the british motorshow had a ride in one of the westies there and each time i see one it gives me another kick in the backside to get it
done!
and well done btw... cant wait til i can take mine for a drive!
