Are there any real plans?
Because that kimini book explicitly states there aren't plans for a mini space frame in the book.

I think the chance of there being any suitable plans available anywhere are rather poor.
Not that it matters, because this is an ideal opportunity for the person concerned to do his own thing.
If it was me I think the first thing I would do would be to decide what engine, and where in the car it would be fitted, then decide on the running
gear.
The decide whether the Mini was going to contribute anything to the strength of the structure, or whether the chassis was going to be a
'stand-alone' which the body would drop on afterwards.
When these decisions had been made then designing the chassis could begin. For a project like that I would be inclined to make a wooden prototype
first.

Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.
