in desperate need of advice
me and a group of my friends are very keen race entusiasts, and while some of us are drivers others are mechanics, we are very keen to build a locost
to race. But we have a couple of problems 1) we all live in the middle of a town and we have nowhere to build it and we cannot think of anywhere. 2)
although we already have a sponsor interested we dont know how much the whole race setup project will cost so we don't know what to push for, oh
and the last thing we are all ownly 18...... got any ideas? please help!!

Firstly what does it matter how old you are especially if it's going to be a racing project. I would suggest trying to find:
a) a school or community centre who would be interested in loaning some space.
b) an old person who lives nearby with a garage who would be grateful of some rent/and or people to speak to.
c) a lockup -> but usually no power, poo location / can't find one and freezing cold.
Other things to consider are joining a local MSA affiliated motorsport club and try to build up some contacts that way...
Cheers

For my project i started with enough room to walk around the chassis pushing it to one side when needed. more space is needed when you get the wheels
on ,but it means you can roll it around in and out of a garage .hope this helps.
you dont say where your from
the cars looking good" a blind man would be pleased to see it"
''stop press'' the blind mans seen it said "it felt ok"
