6 Week roadster, final update
Hi Boys and Girls.
You may remember my post about 6 weeks ago
http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/viewthread.php?tid=99531 ( Don't know how to do that linky dinky thing)
Well here it is, finished.
Well almost
I'm coming back to the UK in the next couple of days to get the SVA sorted.
Still need to tidy up a few bits,. but it runs and stops, and all the lights work.
So pretty much there.
Just trying to sort out a vid, to prove it runs
Will post it later if it goes Ok

CHAPEAU! WELL DONE!
Did you have six weeks full time, or did you have to go to work as well?
With or without having to work, you make me and my six years look silly!

All i can say is: WOW!!!
This has given me the motivation I needed to get mine finished!! And my goal is first week of January.
Also its curious you have your location as Angouleme, I drove my donour car(sierra´s are hard to find in PT) from UK to Portugal and I stoped in
Angouleme to sleep!
GOOD LUCK with SVA!

Dario

Hi Guys.
Thanks for all the nice comments.
To answer the questions:
AshG. Getting the bonnet bends corret?
Bend and test, bend and test. Cow of a job..
If you are using the Triton nosecone and scuttle,
I would get their bonnet as well, sorry mate prob not the answer you wanted.
Maartenromijn. 6 weeks full time?
Yup, I'm retired. So pretty much full time on the car. Although the weather slowed me down a bit.
Dario M. Angouleme?
Yea just on my doorstep,.You should have calld in for a beer.
Trition. Talking of beer
Cheers, mine's a pint of best
I'll take this oppotunity to thank all the people that helped me with parts and questions.
I couldn't have done it without you.
And to the whole Locost builders crew..
All the best David

Although I was rooting for you, I wasn't all that sure, but way to go! As for weather slowing you down, I can relate: it was -20 c last time I
checked where I live. Makes an unpleasant garage experience.
