Goldmine of a place...
After a long a drawn out sarger of trying to change a faulty core plug (Ford ordering and supplying the wrong size 3 times) I decieded to try a small
independent supplier - Chatworths Motor Spares, just off Chatworth Road, Chesterfield.
What a find. I walk in the door to be greeted by the sight of a Lister "Knobbly" Jaguar and a D type (under a sheet tucked in the corner).
The owner instantly knew what I needed looking at the old part and promptly brough out a new one showing why even if the ford one hat fitted it was
rubbish.
I got talking to the owner and it turns out he races both Jag, mostly in Europe and has wone 500 races! He builds everything himself, the place is a
Weber specialists and he even makes his own bodywork. Seems to know plenty about how to tune a Pinto and was more than happy to chat about my plans
for future tuning.
A good find!

I always call in if I'm passing, can't think of another place where you could ask for Cortina bits and not get laughed at!
Cheers
Chris
Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the
error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!
