What are those things called...?
I'm talking about those plastic clips that go on the 90-degree end of bits of rod to hold them in place. Often found in door mechanisms - you
push the end of the off the rod, then you can lift the whole rod out of the hole together with the clip. I've also seen them used as links on
R/C plane controls, as an easy-to-remove clevis.
I was wondering if I could get hold of a small quantity (i.e. 4) to fit 5mm rod...

Yes, Igus sell them, but they sell to trade, so you may need to set up an account and then order 1,000 of them. My company is a good customer of
theirs and we struggle to get small (less than 100 items) quantities of anything from them

I seem to think southco might do those types of things. Im not sure if a company might send you some 'samples' if you ask nicely.
Dont some cars have the round ends that look like plastic ball joints. They are also held in place with clips. Seem to recall seeing them on the
accelerator mech on my old carbs.

Actually, I think I've googled my own answer!
I was thinking of these things:
Exactly the right size, and used on many Toyota door locks!
Cheers!

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!
